Order Packing Specialist

Order Packers are responsible for verifying orders are accurate (including measuring & counting), packing orders into boxes for safe transit to the customer, and weighing and labeling the boxes accurately for shipping to the customer.

They also perform final checks for order inaccuracies and defective items, ensure all orders reach the loading area, and keep detailed records of materials used.
Packager Responsibilities:
– Confirm the order is completed and accurate.
– Accurately pack, weigh, and label completed orders for shipment.
– Identify and replace defective items.
– Properly use packaging materials and equipment.
– Maintain a clean work area.
– Periodic inventory, cleaning, and organization as needed.
– Restock shipping materials.
– Assist other departments as needed.

Packager Requirements:
– No experience is required.
– Basic shop skills, such as using a tape measure.
– Basic computer skills.
– Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
– Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 30 pounds frequently.
– Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds infrequently.
– Strong communication skills and a desire to work with other team members.

The hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.

We provide employees with fully paid HSA health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Insurance is available 60 days after the first day of the following month.

We evaluate pay raises based on individual performance at 6 months and 12 months after hire. Yearly performance reviews with raises are dependent on performance.
