Our mission is to make creativity accessible and affordable for every maker. From a $100 saw on our porch to an 11,000-square-foot shop, we’ve grown with one goal: helping crafters create without limits.
The Story Behind BCrafty
BCrafty began in January 2006, just weeks after I was laid off from the sawmill that closed in 2005. With a $100 saw and an idea, I started cutting wooden letters on our porch. From there, I built a small shed out of free materials, expanded into a larger shop in 2011, and by 2013 we moved into our current 11,000-square-foot building.
Through it all, our goal has never changed: to supply makers with high-quality wood cutouts and craft blanks that make creativity possible. Today, BCrafty continues to grow, but we’re still rooted in the same hard work, resourcefulness, and dedication that started it all.
